MARBLE DEPOSITS
Marble is widespread throughout the world, but, perhaps, each deposit gives marble its own unique shade. The gray color palette is wide and varied: the dark graphite color of the varieties of Italian deposits Bardiglio Iimperiale adds mysticism and mystery to the stone, shades of tin and lead, combined in the Maroon Marinace variety, immerse you in the bliss of dreams, the river mother-of-pearl of Marmara marble sets a playful mood for the entire interior.
The Mramorkrym.rf company directly cooperates with mining enterprises in Italy, Spain, Turkey, and India, providing the widest range of gray marble in a warehouse in Crimea.
Preparing the walls
In this case, it is not necessary to perfectly level the wall surfaces. They can be removed or puttied. The main thing is that the walls are dry and primed; if there are metal parts, they need to be cleaned of rust. For the best effect, paint the walls in the same tone as the composition. If there was already a solution of drying oil or copper sulfate on the wall, it must be opened with enamel-PF 115.

There are also temperature restrictions. You can plaster from five to thirty degrees Celsius. If finishing work is carried out outside the premises, do not expose it to the baking sun or precipitation.
USING GRAY MARBLE
Interior designers are increasingly giving preference to the gray color, which has smoothly moved from Scandinavian interiors. The versatility of color allows you to give the interior any mood with minimal means: dear souvenirs brought from travel, bright curtains and textiles will change even the most boring interior beyond recognition.
Has your mood changed? If you want peace and tranquility - no problem, a simple sofa in white or black, a small coffee table with a mirror surface, a couple of spotlights and voila - the strict interior is ready!
Gray marble tiles look great both on horizontal surfaces in the form of a mirror floor and on vertical ones. Walls lined with gray marble tiles or huge slabs look advantageous in any interior.
Why the Marble Wall and not Lenin Peak?
An expedition to the Marble Wall peak is much more interesting than climbing Elbrus or Lenin Peak for many reasons:
- In this area there are no crowds of tourists and queues along the route, like at Lenin Peak or Elbrus. There are few expeditions here and the wild, untouched nature of the Tien Shan has been preserved, as well as the local ethnic flavor: we will visit the yurt of local shepherds, where we will be treated to delicacies of the mountain cuisine of the Tien Shan.
- This is a hard-to-reach, little-visited and incredibly picturesque area. From the top of the Marble Wall there is a magnificent view of the mountain ranges of three countries: China, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. You will become one of the few who have been to the top of the northernmost six-thousander in Asia in the heart of the Tien Shan mountains. You will have a view of the eastern wall of the Khan Tengri peak: it is visible only from the Marble Wall. Very few people have seen this!
- The route to the Marble Wall is technically more interesting than climbing Elbrus or Lenin Peak. During the ascent, under the guidance of a guide, you will have to overcome an icefall and also go through several fixed ropes at an altitude of more than 5000 meters. This is much more interesting than walking with trekking poles from camp to camp across snowy fields and slopes, as happens on Lenin Peak.
- The marble wall has the optimal height and difficulty for trying your hand at high-altitude mountaineering. The height of the peak is more than 6000 meters, but below 7000 meters. This is a wonderful intermediate option in order to evaluate your body at its best. The Marble Wall is an ideal goal for a mountaineer's career before visiting the Himalayas. After climbing the Marble Wall, you can move on to climbing in Nepal to such peaks as Mera Peak, Island Peak, Lobuche, Ama Dablam.
- During the expedition to the Marble Wall peak, for acclimatization you will not need to go down and up from camp to camp several times covering the same route. In this area, adaptation to altitude occurs at different peaks and passes. The geography of the area allows you to smoothly acclimatize on the Chinese pass (3900) and further on the peaks of Astana (4500), Uzlovaya (4864) and Bayankol (5780). And after this there is an ascent to the top of the Marble Wall (6146-6400). This is much more interesting than walking along the same path many times from camp to camp.
- The height of the peak, according to various sources, ranges from 6146 to 6400 meters. The exact height of the peak is still unknown. During the expedition, high-precision GPS equipment will be used to measure the height of peaks in this area. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of mountains and awaken the spirit of a pioneer.
- Simple logistics and beautiful access to the expedition area. The journey begins and ends in the city of Almaty (Alma-Ata, Kazakhstan). From Almaty you have to travel only 350 km by minibus and go through a beautiful trek of 10 km to the base camp.
GRAY MARBLE TABLETOPS
I would like to pay special attention to the work surfaces in the interior. In addition to its utilitarian function, a tabletop that organically fits into the interior style can become a fundamental design element and set the mood for the entire project. The Mramorkrym.rf company produces marble countertops of any complexity and configuration according to your sizes in the shortest possible time and at the lowest price.
Kitchen countertops
A gray marble countertop located in the work area or on the kitchen island will undoubtedly become a bright accent in the kitchen. The steel range goes well with blue, blue, white and black shades; gold or yellow accessories or tableware will help add color.
Among other things, marble has natural bactericidal properties, so cooking on such a countertop is not only pleasant, but also useful!
Bar counters
Marble bar counters can last for decades; the natural strength of the mineral allows the stone to be used even in rooms with high humidity. But it’s still worth remembering that marble is a porous material; spilled red wine can become an unpleasant memory in the form of a stain in the stone, so spilled stains need to be gotten rid of quickly.

A warm floor system placed under marble will help avoid the unpleasant sensations of cold stone after a warming bath or shower.

But blue marble is considered one of the rarest varieties. It received this color due to the content of iron sulfide in its composition. There are very few deposits of this rock in the world, so blue marble is quite an expensive material for interior decoration. Its amazing color allows it to be used not only as a dominant color, but also to create accent spots in combination with other shades.
