How to fit a piano into the living room interior
It so happens that the living room is not only one of the most visited (after the kitchen), but also the largest room in the house.
Therefore, it is always worth finding a special approach to decorating a living room. Today we will look at how to give your living room the features of a music salon. For this, the most versatile and authentic option would be to add a piano to the interior.
When placing a piano in the living room, the question of its impressive dimensions often arises. A classic piano requires a lot of space and compliance with many conditions for placement. In addition, such an instrument does not always fit organically into the space. For example, an antique piano will look like a “foreign object” in a modern Art Nouveau living room.
Choosing a digital piano is a good solution for any living room. It is better to opt for classic models that will complement both the living room of a country-style house and a small apartment decorated in Provence style. Such tools are available in the CASIO line. The AP-700 and GP-500 look like classic, sophisticated and elegant pianos, and the new sound of the AiR Grand processor allows them to sound like the best acoustic counterparts. Not only musicians will be able to appreciate its excellent characteristics. A strict classic exterior and a magnificent rich sound are a universal combination of qualities that everyone can understand.
CASIO AP-700 in the living room
In country houses, the veranda often acts as a living room. In our example this is exactly the case. The spacious interior, rich in wood, gives a feeling of freedom, and large windows expand the space and offer a beautiful view of the yard. A white piano would look better here. The white color of the instrument will fit into the color palette and give an additional dominant feature to the interior. By the way, it is very convenient to have a digital piano in such a room, because, unlike an acoustic one, it is in no way susceptible to temperature and other weather changes. And in such rooms this is extremely important. Plus, you can always open the windows and play music for those spending time in the yard.

Another country house. The living room is no longer a veranda, but a spacious room flooded with light from large windows. The interior is made in Chalet style. A warm and cozy home is all about attention to detail, so it’s best to place the piano near the stairs, where its sound can fully reach guests and family members on both the first and second floors.

Here is an example of a successful piano fit into a living room in a modern style. See how the wide space is used effectively. The piano goes well with modern technology (in this case, with a TV). Despite the fact that the color of the walls changes to a warmer shade in the light of the lamp, the design of the black piano still does not stand out from the overall interior, all thanks to the golden legs and damper pedals along with the logo of C. Bechstein - the oldest German manufacturer of pianos, together with which developed the GP-500 model (pictured).

Here's another example. A CASIO AP-700 piano is already installed here, which goes well with black and dark brown furniture elements.

Finally, I would like to mention that the piano will find a place in any interior. Here, for example, it goes well with blue walls and a wooden chest of drawers.

It's important to remember that there are no rules here. Try, experiment and you will get the living room of your dreams!
Grand piano, piano or antique piano in the interior of the living room
11.10.2017
Playing music at home is perceived by most today as an anachronism, something from the life before last. But fashionable, sophisticated gadgets have not displaced the piano or grand piano from private life. Quite the opposite: the owners of the instrument are proud of it, care for it and cherish it. Let’s look at how to place a piano in the interior and create greenhouse conditions for it in order.
Room selection
The ideal option is a special music room, where there will only be an instrument on a podium, chairs or armchairs for listeners. But this is rare.
The living room is often chosen - it is the most spacious, with the best acoustics in the house. This is where family and guests gather, and no one’s private interests are infringed upon. If a grand piano has a single owner, the instrument can be placed in his personal room.
Indoor location
For most modern apartments, an acceptable option in terms of dimensions is a piano placed near the wall, in a built-in closet, niche or bay window.
Owners of larger premises can afford a grand piano. Its usual dislocation is an angle. In the middle, a bulky tool will visually occupy the entire space, block the entrance, and you will constantly have to bump into it. This option is only possible for a huge room, a loft apartment, or a studio home without internal partitions. In a two-story mansion, the most suitable place is under the stairs.
If the room is small, but you only want a grand piano, choose a cabinet model with a wing shorter than that of a concert one.
Playing a musical instrument requires good lighting, so if possible, place it near a window so that the light falls from the left, or place light sources nearby: floor or table lamps.
Indoor compatibility
In the “relationship” of the piano and other objects in the room, two options are possible: accentuation and inclusion. In the first piano in the living room interior, it is the center of a separate zone, contrasting in color with the overall decor. You can enhance the effect by creating a slight elevation or placing the piano on a bright carpet. The adjacent wall is specially decorated for the piano: a contrasting color, panels, paintings, music-themed stickers. Fitting in makes the instrument part of the overall color plan and does not require any special tricks.
In both cases, the style of the instrument and the room should be in harmony. This is not difficult when buying a new grand piano or upright piano: today models of any design are offered, from classic to high-tech.
An old piano, if it is not a historical or antique piece, can be adapted to the style of the room yourself. First, the layer of old paint or varnish is removed with sandpaper. And then as your imagination dictates: decoupage techniques, graffiti, stencils, stickers, single-color painting. The final step is varnishing and polishing the surface.
The antique model is adapted whenever possible. The easiest way out is to create a special area with candelabra, a hand-made carpet, grandma’s chest of drawers and similar antique paraphernalia.
Musical art object
Most models of pianos and especially grand pianos are very aesthetically pleasing. It is better not to hide them, but, on the contrary, to use them as a beautiful piece of furniture.
A piano in the interior can become a stand for photos, decorative items, or a vase of flowers. The main thing is not to overdo it. If there are already enough similar things in the room, the instrument is left “clean”. An exception is a candelabra or candlestick of the appropriate style.
Antique and antique pianos with matte surfaces look harmonious in interiors:
- classic;
- Gothic;
- baroque;
- Provence;
- country;
- Scandinavian style.
With pianos sparkling-glossy modern models are appropriate:
- minimalism;
- decadence;
- modern;
- high tech.
A tool not used for its intended purpose can be turned into a chest of drawers or a bureau.
Accessories
The piano or grand piano is played while sitting, which means a chair or bench is needed. There are few requirements for them: compliance with the interior, convenience, height adjustment. The latter is especially important, because several family members or guests can play music. Moreover, when the instrument is purchased for a child, as he grows, this means that the seat must also “grow.”
If we are talking about a music room, it is possible to decorate the interior in the same spirit: stickers or wallpaper with musical notes, music stands. An elevated podium can be an incentive - on it the child will feel like a real musician on a real stage.
A special case is a music workshop. Creative personalities are usually not interested in anything other than music, so neutral-light, ascetic decor, a complete lack of furniture, and good lighting are acceptable.
Take note
High and low humidity and heat (above 25°C) are equally harmful to delicate structures. To ensure that the instrument sounds good and does not dry out, you should not place it near heating devices, a heating system, or in a draft. It is necessary to protect from direct sun and dampness. Regular ventilation is recommended, and if this is not possible, install a humidifier.
It is better to avoid the proximity of a library or bookcase to a piano - the acoustics will deteriorate, and book dust will clog inside.
Rooms with instruments require complete sound insulation. For the floor this is a dry screed based on expanded clay, for the walls and ceiling - plasterboard or other materials.

Piano in the living room interior: how to turn an ordinary musical instrument into an art object + 40 photos
A musical instrument in a living room decoration is an amazing art object that is rarely found in modern decor. As a rule, this applies to a grand piano or upright piano in the living room interior. Previously, each mansion had a special room for it, and the owners had a musical education and could please their guests with virtuoso playing. In a modern interior, a piano plays a largely decorative role. In both large and small living rooms you can find free space for this instrument. Let's learn how to do this on our own.

Determining a place for a piano in the living room
If you inherit a piano, do not rush to send it to a landfill or sell it. It may still be useful to you. A piano can complement the interior of a modern living room. At the same time, the room should still be spacious, since the piano takes up quite a lot of space.
Interior of rooms with a large black piano
If you live in a one-room apartment or a small apartment, then it is better to refuse to install a piano in your home.
Grand piano in the interior of the living room on the attic floor
First, you need to figure out a harmonious place for the piano. We offer several recommendations for installing a musical instrument:
- Along one of the walls. If you decide to place the piano along the wall, then, if possible, place a sofa or armchairs opposite it. This is the most rational arrangement of furniture and a musical instrument in a small room.
- If your living room has a wall that acts as a contrast to the room, then it is better to place the piano along it.
- If the room has a square shape, then it is better to install the piano in its corner.
- If you have a spacious living room, then make the piano the center of attention and accent. Place the musical instrument in the middle of the room.
It is definitely worth noting the places where the piano will look out of place and in this case will ruin the entire interior of the living room:
- First, you should know that installing a musical instrument near heating devices: radiators, fireplaces or heaters is prohibited.
- It is not recommended to install the piano near a window that faces the sunny side. The sun can negatively affect the musical performance of the instrument.
- You should avoid places with drafts.
- It is also not recommended to install the piano in places with high humidity.
Living room: piano, desk in the hall with Mapidovsky decoration
Olga's story from Minsk:
— An apartment from “Mapida” with standard finishing was built in the spring of last year. At the family council, they decided not to change the doors, linoleum and ceilings for now. We are one of those people who don't mind curved walls and floors, as long as it's not visible to the naked eye and you don't hit any uneven surfaces.
The glued ceiling is our omission. At first we decided that it would do just fine for the first time, but now we regret that we didn’t paint it when we re-glued the wallpaper.
Linoleum from “Mapida”, although a budget option, has shown itself to be excellent over the year of operation, and its color “matching laminate” is quite satisfactory.
My husband moved the sockets and re-pasted the wallpaper everywhere except in the corridor, where they were quite appropriate; they decided to hold off on replacing them.
And now directly about the living room, which we, not being first-class designers, decided to make restrained so as not to miss the mark in bold decisions.
We chose traditional beige colors without hesitation, since we already have one bright, saturated spot in the apartment - this is our red kitchen. I wanted the whole apartment to look like a single whole, so there are always red interior items in the beige living room, hallway and bedroom. Only the children's room in the Winnie the Pooh style stands out from the general order. We have a separate fairy-tale world there, but we will show it if there is a competition for children's rooms.
The disadvantages of the room are its “pencil case” shape and “multi-door” design, which significantly reduces the options for arranging furniture.
They decided not to close up the doorways and not to destroy the walls, as is customary for owners of such a layout. Our little one loves to burn off extra calories by running circles in these aisles. To the start, attention, march... and only the heels shine. How can you deprive children of such joy?
The pluses are a large bay window and a sunny side. We have plenty of light around the clock. Therefore, blinds hang on the windows along the width of the glass in case the sun is too bright and annoying.
We were faced with a difficult task: to place in the living room, in addition to the traditional sofa and cabinet furniture with a TV, a piano and a computer desk.
Classic string pianos are no longer produced here, and foreign versions cost incredible amounts of money. In addition, you still need to dare to put a classical piano in a modern living room. This, of course, sounds blasphemous to the ears of musicians, but the instrument does not want to harmonize with today's realities. Therefore, after consulting with music teachers, we decided to replace this option with a modern, good Yamaha electronic piano ($1,400), which, of course, is inferior in characteristics to a string instrument, but is at a decent level among its electronic counterparts.
The second significant problem is that computer tables are not “in fashion” now, but we just wanted a table, because working on our knees or on a coffee table did not suit us. And you have to work a lot at the computer, so you need a comfortable workplace with a chair. I had to scour the Internet to find a suitable modern option and make it to order ($200). The table is hanging, which gives it a little lightness and does not clutter up the room.
And finally, the most difficult thing is how to place all this splendor. There are only 4 large elements, but they never became original for us. We racked our brains for a long time, unfortunately, we couldn’t find a clear head in our surroundings, and we arranged the furniture the old fashioned way, “along the walls.”
Cabinet furniture – Involux. She is somehow undeservedly forgotten at this competition. The quality and design, in my opinion, are on par. I would advise Ikea lovers to take a closer look at it. You can buy something similar from us, instead of going to Poland and Russia.
Sofa - “Pinskdrev” (14 million 700 thousand). When installed, it turned out to be terribly bulky, although this was not noticed in the pavilions when admiring it. Nothing can be done, although there is one small plus: both of our little daughters fit perfectly behind the back; it’s their favorite place for family gatherings. And behind the armrest there is a wonderful, narrow (when folded) and comfortable table-book (1 million 620 thousand) for our many guests. The sofa was immediately covered with a blanket (it was made to measure in China), small children do not let you relax and prefer to paint exclusively on canvas, so let it be a blanket, not a sofa, in case of inspiration.
The carpet (1 million 600 thousand), chandelier (1 million 720 thousand), curtains ($90) and wallpaper (1 million 400 thousand), in my opinion, perfectly repeated all three shades of the room. The wallpaper is German, plain. The carpet is made in Russia. Linen curtains are custom-made in China (according to my measurements and color preferences). The chandelier is Polish (when purchasing, the seller could not resist and said: “You have chosen an excellent chandelier for your bedroom.” I decided not to tell her where I chose this chandelier).
Now for the red elements: additional pillows (200 thousand) and an oil painting ($90) were also ordered from hard-working Chinese. Wicker boxes (900 thousand), straw napkin-stand and painted sea pebbles-matryoshkas (my special pride) are handmade.
That's probably all. In 5-6 years we will change the doors, flooring and paint the ceiling. In the meantime, the living room of a young family with small children in a newly decorated Mapidovsky building looks like this.

A kaleidoscope of interior design ideas for a living room with a piano
A piano takes up a lot of free space in the room, so its installation needs to be considered at the stage of renovation of the room. If it turns out that a musical instrument came to you after renovating a room, then try to free up space near a window or near an artificial light source. If this option is also impossible, then the place for playing music will need to be equipped with a floor or table lamp.
Living room interior with black piano
If your living room is bright and airy, but a grand piano in the middle of the room doesn't inspire you, place it near a large window. A black piano looks especially appropriate in a pastel-colored room. The color scheme of this living room:
- pacifies;
- puts you in a calm mood;
- conducive to proper and fruitful communication.
And to slightly dilute the neutral color scheme of the living room, add accessories in the color of young foliage to the decor. Thus, the room will also shine with optimism.
Traditional brown piano in the living room
A black piano will harmoniously fit into a snow-white living room, where the room is filled with an azure glow from the windows. In this case, the musical instrument should have a glossy surface, then it will become the center of attraction. To complete this living room you will need:
- white upholstered furniture;
- huge window openings;
- glass surfaces.
With these items, even a city living room will be filled with space and cleanliness.
Snow-white piano in the interior of a classic living room
To make the living room interior more individual and original, a musical instrument must have a special design. Install a grand piano in your room that is made from a combination of light and dark wood, with glossy and matte surfaces. Complete your living room with this musical instrument:
- spacious corner sofa with leather upholstery;
- pendant lamps with black shades;
- coffee table-stand on wheels;
- the floor covering should imitate real concrete.
The grand piano is located near the fireplace in the living room interior.
For a living room in an eclectic style, where there is a fireplace, original furniture and unusual decoration, a grand piano is also suitable. It should repeat the general style of the room, its color scheme and the element of the presence of real wood.
Classic piano in the interior of a modern loft style living room
The architecture of modern premises seems to suggest installing a musical instrument in the room. The bay window is the ideal place for a piano. A classic living room, which is decorated with exquisite furniture, modest decoration and exquisite accessories, is specially designed for a piano, the sounds of which will periodically fill the room.
The piano can be placed in a free wall niche
The baroque living room is a real mix of style and decor, which is more reminiscent of a real museum. Here you can find:
- large arched window of enormous size;
- large portraits in massive golden frames;
- finishing made of natural solid wood;
- modern upholstered furniture;
- grand piano.

A piano looks very appropriate in a decadent living room interior. It should give the impression that the entire environment was created specifically for the musical instrument. An excellent background for a piano in such a room will be decoration, furniture and accessories in the art nouveau style.
Small piano in the interior of a modern style living room
To decorate a living room in a country house, where the main materials for decoration are wood and stone, it is appropriate to install a luxurious grand piano in black. Live music in the evenings, crackling wood in the fireplace - this is an amazing atmosphere of coziness and comfort of a country holiday.
A black piano is the main accent in a light-colored room
If in your home the living room plays the role of an office, then it is appropriate to install a large polished wooden grand piano with carved legs in the room. You can complement the interior:
- bright patterned curtains;
- original lamps and accessories.

The piano is located opposite the sofa and turned into a real art object. The body of the instrument is painted ivory and decorated with gold leaf. The wall next to the piano is covered with wallpaper with a cherry blossom pattern. Thanks to this, the music area has become even more active.
All furnishings and most accessories are matched to the musical instrument. These include a soft sofa, floor lamps with tall graceful legs, etc. Even the coffee table and flooring are made of bleached wood.
Black became the accent color. It is present in candlesticks and dried flower arrangements.

Sketch in dark colors
Design by Irina Zharikova, Olga Rubeykina
The design of this living room is very unusual - an unconventional combination of colors was chosen: bottle green plus red and white. In addition, black and dark brown are present in the room. In addition, several decorative techniques are implemented here: the piano is “recessed” into a niche made of plasterboard, and above the musical instrument there is a shelf and another spacious niche hidden behind a Roman blind. Many different little things that are so difficult to find a place in the living room are stored in display cabinets installed on both sides of the plasterboard structure.
Opposite the piano are two elegant tables. On one of them stands an original, hand-painted table lamp (one of the most interesting objects in the room). The soft group consists of a small sofa and a swivel chair. A pouf is used as a coffee table. By the way, if necessary, it can be transformed into a sleeping place. The function of curtains is performed by high shutters-blinds.
Design by Dmitry Uraev
The interior of this living room has absorbed different historical eras: classic furniture coexists peacefully here with furnishings in the minimalist style. This relaxed coexistence is facilitated by accessories of classic shapes in a modern design - nickel-plated coffee tables, a designer radiator, candlesticks and vases.
A piano is “hidden” in a niche built from plasterboard. Another niche has been constructed nearby. It was turned into a display cabinet with space for folders with sheet music and a player with discs. Armchairs and coffee tables are mobile enough that, if necessary, they can be moved from place to place.
The walls are covered with yellow wallpaper with classic medallions, which give the interior a feeling of warmth and bright sunshine.

A piano in the living room interior is a highlight of modern decor
Unlike a grand piano, a piano takes up much less space and can be easily installed along the wall. But at the same time it needs sufficient lighting, so the piano can often be seen near the window.

For a Scandinavian-style living room, a piano with a retro finish is suitable. A dark-colored musical instrument will look organic against the background of a light finish.

In a living room where gray shades predominate, the warm brown finish of the piano will become the main accent of warmth and coziness. It is appropriate to install the piano in a niche of a built-in storage system with open white shelves.

In a small living room with an original interior, there is not much space to install a piano. For a harmonious design, the finishing of the piano should be repeated in the furnishings of the room.
The top shelf of the piano can be decorated with various accessories
A luscious summer living room usually needs a black, bright accent. You can traditionally use cornices, photo frames or lamps. And there is an unusual way to decorate a room - install a black piano. It will give the living room a festive atmosphere and positivity.

HOW TO PLACE A PIANO IN THE INTERIOR OF YOUR HOME
When a piano appears in the house, it is always a joyful event, because it means that one of your loved ones has decided to take up music. But the question immediately arises: how to place the piano so that it fits into the environment and harmonizes with the interior. If you are planning a renovation, then a lot will be simplified; the interior will be planned “around” the piano, but what if not?
There are a large number of nuances in this issue. It is necessary to take into account the impressive size of the instrument, as well as the acoustic capabilities of the room where the piano will be placed. Do not forget that the piano should not be placed near heating devices, in a draft, in damp rooms, and direct sunlight should also be avoided. At first glance, the problem seems insoluble, especially if the area of the house is small.
First of all, decide in which room the piano will be placed. They most often use the living room, hall or children's room, depending on who plans to use the instrument. If the space still allows, you can create a separate “musical” corner using podiums, bright carpets, special lighting, and floor finishing. The main thing is that the piano does not clutter the room.
The design style in the room should match the instrument itself. Modern models can fit into any decor. If the piano is classic or antique, then both the overall style and accessories should match its appearance.
For example, candlesticks, paintings, flower arrangements will complement the decor of the room and create a cozy atmosphere where it will be pleasant to enjoy music. If you can’t fit the piano into your style, you can decorate the instrument itself to suit your interior or seek the help of a specialist.
Restoring an old piano or decorating it to suit your own style begins with removing the old varnish and paint using sandpaper. After this, you have many options open to you. You can use the decoupage technique, cover it with plain paint and stick on ornaments, paint it with graffiti, or do a two-layer stencil painting. The choice of decor depends on your imagination. Lastly, varnish and polish the piano.
It happens that you got the piano along with the furnishings and there are no players playing music on it. In this case, a non-standard and original solution is suitable, using a piano only as a decorative element. Convert a piano into a bureau or chest of drawers and your guests will be amazed for a long time.

2 ways to arrange a living room with a piano
The living room is an ideal place to create a music area. There are several explanations for this. Firstly, this room is usually located away from the bedroom or recreation areas; thus, playing the instrument does not interfere with the rest of the household. Secondly, being a room for family gatherings and celebrations, you can play music here for (and with) guests. Finally, the presence of keyboards ennobles the atmosphere, making it more refined and original.
It is a mistake to believe that a piano looks harmonious only in a classic interior. It all depends on the construction and design of the instrument: antique products with a touch of antiquity fit perfectly into Provence, country and baroque styles, and modern models with smooth shiny panels feel at home in styles such as minimalism, decadence or modern.
There are 2 ways to introduce a grand piano into a living room design: accent and balanced.
In the first case, the most prominent place in the room is allocated for the instrument, and its design completely contrasts with the surroundings. You can focus on the music area using a podium or bright carpet. If the layout of the room includes a bay window, feel free to use it; a small ledge with several windows is the most advantageous place for a piano.
With a balanced approach, the color and design of the product are selected to match the main palette of the living room. Often a corner or an entire area is allocated for the piano, which is additionally equipped with armchairs, a sofa, and floor cushions. In this way you can create a semblance of an auditorium. Thematic accessories help decorate the music area: a composition of paintings in the form of a staff (or keys), music stands, etc.
Regardless of which option you choose, make sure that the piano area in your living room design is well lit. If it is not possible to place the instrument near a window, consider options for ceiling and local artificial lighting.
Ideas for placing a piano in the interior
A piano, unlike a grand piano, has more modest dimensions, which means it can be compactly placed in any part of the living room. However, not every free corner is suitable for such a sensitive musical instrument. To ensure that the piano does not lose its unique sound characteristics, several rules should be followed when installing it.
The instrument must be placed sideways to the window (preferably so that the light falls from the left side), away from drafts. Particular attention should be paid to the microclimate in the interior of the living room with a piano: the air should be humid and the temperature should not exceed 25 degrees Celsius. High temperature damages the “insides” of the keyboard and leads to drying out of the case; Therefore, the product cannot be used near heating devices.
Taking into account the above requirements, it is rational to install the piano:
- along the wall. With this arrangement, the tool takes up minimal space. It is recommended to decorate the wall with thematic paintings, stencils with musical motifs;
- in a separate area, which will become the center of attraction of the living room. It is appropriate to place a soft corner near the piano so that the grateful listener can enjoy the music in absolute comfort;
- in the bay window. This is the area with the greatest amount of daylight and the best indoor microclimatic conditions. That's why the piano feels at home here.
One more nuance. If you are arranging the interior of a living room with a piano in an apartment, do not forget about soundproofing all large surfaces. Otherwise, there will be no end to the indignant responses from neighbors. For the floor, it is recommended to use dry expanded clay screed; The walls and ceiling can be insulated with dense insulation or sheets of plasterboard.

A piano in the lounge room is the highlight of the interior
Unlike a grand piano, a piano takes up much less space and can be placed compactly against one of the walls of the room, but it also needs a sufficient level of illumination, so it is often located near a window. In the original living room with a dark blue finish and unusual upholstery of upholstered furniture, in addition to the varnished surface of the piano, unusual floor lamps with many hanging decorative elements made of glass, original stand tables with mirror surfaces and unusual glass cabinets are responsible for the shine and gloss.
The retro model piano fits very organically into the living room, decorated in Scandinavian style. Against the background of a neutral finish, not only dark furniture pieces, but also decorative elements and accessories look especially expressive.
In the lounge room, decorated in many shades of gray, the rich wood tone of the piano provides an island of natural warmth. A specially created custom-made storage system in a snow-white tone became an excellent frame for the musical instrument.
In a living room with an original design, very little space is needed to place a compact piano, the black gloss of which is repeated in the decor and furnishings of the room. In a spacious room, on a spacious sofa, you can accommodate many music lovers, and the non-trivial atmosphere will be an excellent backdrop for creating a positive mood.
In the “lush” summer interior of the living room, the piano is the only dark spot. Only photo frames and curtain rods “support” the dark tone. Bright textiles and colorful decor of the room against the background of neutral decoration made it possible to create a positive and even festive atmosphere in the living room interior.
The modern interior of the living room attracts attention not only thanks to the musical instrument, but also the original design of the fireplace, incredibly geometric furniture, skillful use of glass and mirror surfaces, an interesting solution for organizing lighting and original decor.
The bright design of the living room in red and terracotta tones will not allow anyone to pass by such an interior. The rich, colorful design keeps those present in good shape all the time, perhaps this is exactly the effect the musician expects from his music. Wooden surfaces are actively used in the interior, and the piano, among other elements of the bright interior, looks very organic.
Separate room for music classes
In country houses and private city houses, it is often possible to equip a separate room for music lessons and small home concerts. For such rooms or areas in spacious rooms, the main and often the only piece of furniture becomes a tool. For the convenience of the listeners, comfortable chairs or small sofas are placed.
In a separate area for music, quite conventionally separated from the main room, the only piece of furniture is a dark piano. This color is present in the design of the edging and supporting supports throughout the space. Only the landscape on the wall dilutes the contrasting atmosphere of the room.
For many musicians, it is important that the environment around the instrument is neutral and does not distract from the creative process. Light finishes, modest decor and a complete lack of furniture are a neutral option for the interior of a music workshop for creative individuals.
Another example of a separate room for music lessons and private mini-concerts. A spacious room with a snow-white finish is diluted only by bright spots of doorways. Modest furnishings in the form of armchairs with leather upholstery are harmoniously combined with a piano in a wood-effect design.
The Music Workshop is a great place to place collectibles. If such decor cannot be placed on the walls, then you can use open shelves or entire racks, depending on the type of collection items. In this case, a light decoration of the room in neutral colors would be an ideal option. The emphasis on the musical instrument and accompanying attributes will be most expressive.
An asymmetrical room with large windows, light decoration and a fireplace was an excellent option for setting up a music workshop. There is nothing superfluous in the room, but the furnishings are luxurious.
