It can lie around, gather dust and spoil the appearance of the dressing table, by the way, which I did in one of the previous videos, you can watch it on my channel. I developed drawers for cosmetics in 2015 and now together with you we will make it with our own hands. All work can be divided into three main stages: 1) Print the dresser templates (drawings on the website), cut out the parts from foam cardboard using a cutter. 2) We assemble and glue the chest of drawers for cosmetics (assembly) 3) We decorate. I decided to spray paint the inside of the cosmetics drawer purple and cover the outside with holographic self-adhesive paper. So, in order. First, we need to print out the drawings of a chest of drawers for storing cosmetics. Then we cut out future parts in blocks in order to glue them to the foam board. Please note that I do not apply glue to the parts in the middle, so as not to spoil the surface. Only around the edges! I glue the parts onto the surface of the foam board and carefully cut them out with a cutter. Be sure to stock up on sharp blades and do not forget to change them, since even a slightly dull blade can make unsightly burrs on the end of the foam board. Also, be careful when making an organizer for storing cosmetics with your own hands! The blade can cut you very badly. Do not cut towards yourself or stick your fingers along the cutting line. It took me about an hour to cut out the parts according to my drawings. After all the parts of our chest of drawers are cut out, you can start assembling. The sheets contain explanations for the chest of drawers' parts, so don't lose them. I start with the back, glue two sides to it, then the middle shelf and the front. This is how the appearance of our cosmetics drawer immediately begins to emerge. Then I assemble the base, the upper partitions (not yet glued into the chest of drawers) and the drawers. Please note that I glue the fronts to the drawers last in order to align them with the chest of drawers. I leave the handles for later - I will glue them after decorating and painting. In general, the chest of drawers can be used just like this, without painting and decoration, perhaps this may be more practical, but I want to show you what can be done with the chest of drawers. After cutting the parts with a cutter, the ends of the foam board may not look very smooth, have burrs, or simply show the very texture of the foam board. Therefore, I cover them with self-adhesive paper, cut into even strips, 10 mm wide. If you don't have self-adhesive tape on hand, you can use plain paper for these purposes. For manufacturing it is better to take plywood or wood. It is more convenient to work with these materials. To make the product look elegant, you need to choose a material with a thickness of no more than 10-15 mm. A thicker board will make a miniature chest of drawers look bulky.

• cutters for 3.5, 5, 10 and 15 mm (cutters for 10 and 15 mm should be marked with a + sign or marked 10.2, 15.2);

• drills 2.5 and 5 mm;
• fine grain sandpaper;
• glue;
• 35 mm drill for mounting overhead handles;

Beginning craftsmen can first try assembling a chest of drawers from thick cardboard. To do this, you will need a minimum of materials: a sheet of cardboard, a pencil, straight and angled rulers, a stationery knife, glue. To make the product look more beautiful and more reliable, it should be covered with film.
