This cabinet has two features: a laminated chipboard roof and beautiful inserts in the doors. If you have a suspended ceiling and are thinking about purchasing a wardrobe, you need to decide which design is right for you.
There will be no problems with a cabinet cabinet. It has a back wall, sides, floor and ceiling. Such a structure can be moved, disassembled, sold, donated, taken to the country, or moved to another room. Your floor, walls and ceiling remain intact.
But cabinet cabinets often have gaps between the walls and ceiling. It doesn't look nice. Therefore, when it comes to buying a wardrobe, people often think about a built-in design.

We can make a wardrobe as if it is adjacent to a suspended ceiling. It looks great. The stretched fabric will not be damaged in any way. If necessary, the cabinet can be dismantled, the ceiling will remain as new.
But there is one thing - BUT. If suddenly, for some reason you need to change the ceiling, you will have to disassemble the entire cabinet! Ceiling craftsmen will not be able to get to the front wall, as well as to the side ones, the laminated chipboard will interfere. What does it mean to disassemble a built-in wardrobe? You need to have experience for such work and be very careful not to mix up the details.
Specifically in this case, the client decided to make a roof from laminated chipboard and lower it by 10cm. from the ceiling. Thus, we get the opportunity not to disassemble the entire cabinet when replacing the linen. It is enough to open the compartment doors, remove the roof and you can freely replace the ceiling.
On the downside, we get a dust collector and lose useful height inside the cabinet.
You can argue differently. Some people have a ceiling that lasts for 15 years or more, without any problems. And some neighbors flooded it immediately after the renovation and simply draining the water is not enough, it needs to be changed. A child, while playing, accidentally cut the canvas.
One day, when we were already leaving the client, after installing cabinet furniture, the cat tore the ceiling with its claws. He climbed onto the furniture wall we made. He lay down on his back under the suspended ceiling and began to push off the canvas with his paws, sliding on his back.
So it’s difficult to say that everything will be “OK” for 20 years. Think. We can do it differently.
Inside, the closet turned out to be very simple, shelves and rods. But from the outside the facade is very interesting. The inserts are decorative glass called “Arabesque bronze”. The client really liked the design and the bronze color with mirror accents. Due to the high cost of such glass, we do not make such doors often.
